Agrologist-In-Training Requirements
1. One Year Canadian Experience
2. Jurisprudence & Ethics (J&E) Seminar and Assignment
Attend 2-hour virtual seminar, then complete online assignment.
3. Annual General Meeting
Attend meeting to experience governance aspects of registration. Generally held at the beginning of April.
4. Mentorship Certification Form
Your mentor must be a registered agrologist with Agrologists Manitoba. If you are looking for a mentor, check the online registry “Find an Agrologist“. Once your mentor has agreed to the role, submit their name through your online profile. After mentorship is complete, mentors will complete and submit the Mentor Certification Form.
5. Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Complete and record 40 hours of Professional Development on your online profile (dashboard). This can include seminars, webinars, courses, or other learning opportunities that contribute to your competency in your field of practice
