To practice as an Agrologist in Manitoba, you must be registered with Agrologists Manitoba.
Step 1: Application
Submit a completed application, see new applicants for additional details.
Step 2: Assessment
The Admission and Registration Committee (ARC) will fully assess your completed application and make a decision. ARC meetings are held in February, May, August, November.
Step 3: Decision
ARC approves your application, you will be registered as an Agrologist-in-Training (AIT).
Agrologists Manitoba will send you a letter informing you of your status as an AIT. Upon payment of permit fee, your online permit will be made available.
Step 4: Pursue Full Status
Complete the Agrologist-In-Training requirements to become registered as a Professional Agrologist (P.Ag.) or Technical Agrologist (Tech.Ag.).
Step 5: Final ARC Review
ARC reviews your completed AIT requirements and approves your full status registration.
Agrologists Manitoba will send you a letter informing you of your Full Status designation.
Step 6: Registration as an Agrology Professional (P.Ag./Tech.Ag.)
Upon final payment of your permit fees, your online permit will be made available.
Continue to complete and record Continuing Professional Development to ensure competency in your field of practice.
