The Soybean and Pulse Agronomy Research program led by Kristen P. MacMillan in the Department of Plant Science at the University of Manitoba is hiring an Agronomy Research Technician. The field agronomy research technician will be responsible for executing and managing small plot agronomy research trials related to soybean and pulse production throughout Manitoba. This position will be based out of Winnipeg, MB with frequent daily travel to Carman, MB and other collaborating research sites. This is a 2-year grant funded position with potential for renewal. The ideal candidate will have a BSc or MSc in an agriculture related discipline (an acceptable equivalent combined experience and education will also be considered), experience with agronomic research and experimental design, small plot agricultural equipment and soybean and pulse crop agronomy.
