The Manure Management Planner (MMP) Registry is a list of individuals qualified to prepare third party Manure Management Plans in accordance with “The Livestock Manure and Mortalities Regulation”. Agrologists Manitoba administers the public registry under agreement with Manitoba Environment, Climate and Parks that require anyone preparing MMPs on behalf of an operator to be listed on a third party registry.
Manitoba Environment, Climate and Parks requires a mechanism to ensure compliance with section 13 (7) of the Livestock Manure and Mortalities Regulation (MR 42/98). It states a person must complete a course and is currently registered with Agrologists Manitoba or is a Certified Crops Advisor. Manitoba Environment, Climate and Parks uses the Agrologists Manitoba Registry as a mechanism to verify the requirements of section 13 (7) have been met.
The MMP Registry is renewed annually.
