Intern, Extension Agrologist Diversity

The Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture has an Intern Extension Agrologist Diversity position for recent graduates looking to develop and expand their knowledge of the agriculture industry and regional services.

The Intern Extension Agrologist will work on initiatives and projects to support the transfer of information and technology to farmers, ranchers, and the agriculture industry. As the successful candidate, you will plan and implement extension activities, provide service and information to clients, condense research into briefs, work on special projects, develop your technical skills and a diverse network of contacts, work with experienced agrologists and gain experience in government.

To qualify, you must have completed an undergraduate or graduate degree in agriculture within the last three years, have less than three years’ job experience, possess knowledge of the agriculture industry, and must be registered or need to become registered with the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists as defined by The Agrologists Act.
