Jennifer Melnychenko, P.Ag.

“I am pleased to accept my nomination for the Provincial Council with Agrologists Manitoba. My experiences in crop production, leadership and agronomics will help me serve the membership of Agrologists Manitoba. I greatly value the high level of ethics and integrity that Agrologists are held to and look forward to serving alongside others with Agrologists Manitoba. I have served on several other boards and I feel these experiences would allow me to be an excellent choice to serve on Agrologists Manitoba.”

Jennifer has been involved in the agriculture industry for 15 years in agronomics, sales, marketing and training. She graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture majoring in plant science. Since graduating she has worked primarily in agronomics and farm consulting with a focus on crop and soil fertility and farm sustainability. In her previous role in divisional management she was extensively involved in agronomic training of hands on experience for new agronomists. In this role she developed a passion for training and sharing knowledge to enhance farm success and sustainability.

Jennifer is a co-owner and operator alongside her husband on their farm in Western Manitoba where they produce grains and oilseeds. She strives to use a solid foundation in agronomics and new tools and technologies to be a leader in their crop production and quality.

Jennifer has been a member of Agrologists Manitoba for approximately 9 years and has held her CCA designation for just as many years. She has served on the Prairie Certified Crop Advisor Board since 2017 on the Standards and Ethics committee representing Manitoba.
