Provincial Council Profile

Shelby Wray, B.Env.Sc., Tech.Ag.

Shelby is an environmental professional at Good Lands Environmental Inc. where she is a Senior Reclamation Program Manager.  She grew up on a small grain and cattle farm in southwest Manitoba before obtaining a Bachelor of Environmental Science from Brandon University in 2011.  During university she worked as a member of a research team with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. Following graduation, Shelby returned home where she has been involved with the oil and gas industry ever since.  She has worked extensively with oil and gas production companies, landowners, regulators and colleagues to remediate and reclaim lands impacted by oil and gas production, ensuring that they are returned to their previous agricultural capability.  Shelby has been a member of the Manitoba Institute of Agrologists for more than seven years and is also registered with the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists.  Shelby served as Council Vice-Chair and member of the Admission and Registration Committee before being elected Council Chair.
