Robert Parr, Tech.Ag.

Robert Parr was born and raised on a family farm just outside of Rapid City, MB. This is where he developed his passion for agriculture, eventually leading to buying into partial ownership with his parents. After spending a few years learning the ropes of the industry as an operator with Viterra/CPS, he returned to formal education. Graduating in 2016 from Assiniboine College with an Agribusiness Diploma with honors. He returned to the retail market with Heritage Coop, where he was able to hone his craft in agronomy. During this time he would complete his Certified Crop Advisor designation (2021) and become a Tech Ag with the Manitoba institute of Agrologists (2021). With a desire to further his agronomic prowess and influence in the market, Robert chose to make the leap to Cargill in 2022 as a Senior Market Development Agronomist. More recently, he made the move into Corteva as a Retail Territory Manager, where he looks to help farmers and retails build strong agronomic plans with wide variety of industry leading actives and plant genetics.
