To practice* as an Agrologist in Manitoba, you must be registered with Agrologists Manitoba.

*Practicing Agrology: includes every act with or without reward, which has as its objective the experimentation with or the giving of advice with respect to the principles, laws or practices relating to the production, improvement, use, processing or marketing of agricultural products, crops or livestock.

Registration applies to those currently practicing agrology/planning to practice agrology/wishing to hold designation in Manitoba.

If you are not practicing agrology but would like to become registered and meet the education requirements, you have the option of registering, but is not required.

Steps to Apply

  • 1. FILL AND SUBMIT THE FORM BELOW TO INITIATE YOUR APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION
    • An activation email will be sent to the address provided – follow directions in the email
    • Log-in to your account, go to Dashboard
  • 2. COMPLETE ACTION ITEMS
    • Self-disclosure questions
    • Submit application fee ($125)
    • Education/employment history
  • 3. SUBMIT EDUCATION CREDENTIALS (details below)
  • 4. EMAIL JOB DESCRIPTION to registration@agrologistsmanitoba.ca

Education Credentials

Domestic Applicant

  • Bachelors Degree completed at Canadian Institute

International Applicant

  • Bachelors degree completed outside of Canada
    • Course-by-Course Evaluation from World Education Services [Apply for Canada equivalency, standard online application (for licensing purpose). Indicate ‘Agrologists Manitoba’ as 3rd party recipient]
    • If you completed additional education at a Canadian institute, also mail original transcript(s) to the address listed above

Transfer/Multi-province Registration Request

Original transcripts will be mailed back following Admission and Registration Committee assessment and decision.
